I am a California licensed attorney. I primarily handle real estate litigation
matters. In my profession, in order to prevail, an argument must be
supported with facts -- mere arguments or assertions without a factual
basis do not prevail.
Reporters and news agencies generally report facts without reference to
their primary sources. While I understand that it is impossible and
impractical for newspapers to provide their source for every fact that they
publish, this often leads to wonder whether the reporter is relying on
primary sources or are asserting their own personal opinions supported
with made up facts.
The Information Baron attempts to provide you with news and
information referenced to its primary sources. Rather than me telling you
what I think the facts are, I will summarize the facts and refer you to the
primary source of those facts. You can then read and understand the
primary source yourself and fill in the blanks.
On occasion, I may give you my own opinion on a subject but in such
instance I will tell you it is my opinion but I will also refer you to the
primary source for the facts that support my opinion.
Most importantly, I will use my great wealth, power and influence in
collection of facts or data to provide you with the primary source of such
facts or data.
